The idea is that in the 50’s Indiana Jones and Martian Manhunter team up for a sci-fi flying saucer type adventure.

Now, for this to work, either the Hylian Shield is magic, or Link has acquired a Mother Box as a Quest Item. Or both.

Wonder Woman villain Silver Swan and late great super awesome Madeline Kahn.
That’s how it is done.

Classic Flash villain Doctor Alchemy used the Philosopher’s Stone to transmute elements (making him a good Firestorm villain, actually).
Gene Wilder is awesome. You will note this is the mustachioed Young Frankenstein Wilder.

Celebrated actor Christopher Plummer as the DC villain from the dark side of the moon. Enjoy!

Godzilla is a surface-world problem. Never see Aquaman testing nukes.
You know how easily he could stop Godzilla? All of undersea life obeys Aquaman. You know, that might even include Godzilla.

So, you may have heard that DC is relaunching their comics at issue 1. They aren’t changing the characters around too much (Damien Wayne is still Robin, for example), but there is one HUGE development in my book.
Geoff Johns and Jim Lee will be helming Justice League.
The greatest writer and the greatest artist on DC’s greatest heroes.
That is a big deal to yours truly.

You’ll see a lot of news reports today about what a big deal it is that DC is relaunching its biggest titles at issue #1. That is not a big deal. It happens a lot. The thing that is a big deal (and it’s right there in the story) is that they’ll be posting these popular titles online for app and browser viewing the same day they appear in the stores.
This is a major change, and a great indicator of progress in the slow march toward true human civilization (true human civilization being weekly comics available online for a Netflix-esque monthly subscription fee). So: this fall we get Old Republic and new weekly comics online from DC.
So far, so good.
