A team at Georgia Tech has developed a system for autonomous robots to carry out a group task with no communication. Each robot reacts to what the other is doing and takes an action based on that. Like, if four people were told to line up, they’d just make a line by seeing each other and acting accordingly.
Pretty awesome stuff.
Hat tip to Wired for the story.
